TIME STUDY 2.0 | New-Look Admin Dashboard Provides Real-Time Insights

We are excited to announce our most significant product upgrade in Time Study’s history! Based on user feedback, we have redesigned the Admin Dashboard to provide more real-time insights so you are at the nerve center and can see what is happening at all times.

The new home page provides our clients with an at-a-glance overview of their time study program’s health and status. Key real-time metrics will include completion rates, total hours studied, top activities reported, and any outstanding or upcoming tasks.

We are excited to continue to introduce new features because our goal is to make sure we are delivering tools and insights that add real value to your Time Study experience.

New Information Center Elevates Key Metrics

The new overview provides an instant snapshot of how your time study program is performing. The new layout is organized to elevate key real-time metrics including completion rates, total hours studied, top activities reported, and any outstanding or upcoming tasks. The top row targets key performance indicators such as:

  • Completion Rate – The percentage of completed time studies compared to the expected number for the selected period (e.g., fiscal year or month). Best practice is to aim for rates of 80% or higher, as lower rates may indicate data quality issues.

  • Hours – The total number of hours reported in your completed time studies.

  • Total Annualized – A projection of total hours worked over a year, based on completed time studies.

  • Data Recency – Highlights the percentage of time studies completed within 14 days of the study period’s end date, helping administrators better understand the timeliness of their data submissions.

  • Study Workflow – The table shows the real-time status of all outstanding time studies through the following stages: Completed, Pending Approval, Outstanding (not submitted, but within deadline), and Expired.

For each of these metrics, the dashboard shares the trend data over time and helps ensure that you can see problems quickly and address them right away!

One more critical aspect is that each of the metrics are clickable so that you can drill down into the supporting data. For example, you see that your Completion Rate has dropped by a significant amount, just click and you can see which team members are lagging behind and get them back on track before the problem goes too far.
